Knowledge & Wisdom

There is a difference between knowledge and wisdom. They are not the same.

Knowledge is the theory of facts and data that I have learned. It can come through education, research, observation, Investigation, and experience. I am knowledgable when I am aware of something and having the right information.

Wisdom is the application of knowledge. It is my judgment about what part of the knowledge is relevant, and how I can apply it to my life. Wisdom has a deeper meaning. It also helps me with why something is the way it is and what it means to my life.

I obtain knowledge, while wisdom is developed.

As we age, we may gain a lifetime of knowledge, but it is essential to measure ourselves on the wisdom scale. In today’s times, knowledge is no longer power. It is cheap and easy to access. The real power is in the wisdom of making the right choices that help enhance the quality of our life. Realize your potential by being wise.
