Worried About Exposing Your Flaws?

Insecurities

Every one of us suffers from different types of insecurities. We have things that we think make us look weak or bad- Not a good public speaker, not skilled enough, attractive enough, smart enough, analytical enough, etc. Unfortunately, because we are convinced that our weaknesses will hold us back if exposed, we often go to great lengths to conceal them. In the process, we overlook the opportunities we miss.

If we consider our perceived shortcomings from the right perspective, they are assets, not liabilities. Because it takes strength to admit to our flaws. It is a sign of confidence. There is nothing more empowering than to show up despite your insecurities and do what needs to be done. You will always be a winner either way. If something goes wrong, you will benefit from the experience and improve. If nothing goes wrong, you have called the bluff on your insecurity-it is a figment of your imagination.
