As you grow professionally, the decisions rarely get easier.
The stakes get higher. The consequences travel further. More people are affected. More can go right, and more can go wrong.
That is not necessarily a sign that something is wrong. Often, it is simply the nature of playing at a higher level.
Bigger opportunities come with bigger uncertainty. Greater responsibility comes with greater exposure. The highs can be higher, but so can the lows.
You can reduce the swings by always choosing the safer path. But you may also limit how far you can grow.
So a decision that feels unusually difficult is not only about risk.
Sometimes it is simply evidence that the game has changed.
Growth does not remove uncertainty. It increases your capacity to handle it.
