Different people come with different strengths, like being analytical, good at problem-solving, strong communication, relationships, etc. That being said, I look for three specific character traits in anyone I wish to bring into my team.
Positive: How cheerful, optimistic, and patient are you when dealing with adversity?
Dependable: Can I rely on you to handle the situation reliably, irrespective of when things are going well or when the chips are down?
Mastery: Do you have an intrinsic desire to learn and grow? Do you have the attitude to get better?
Anyone with these three traits has a considerable advantage compared to others. Such people are naturally good at creating impact in whatever role they may essay.
