We can’t be anxious about goals, targets, rewards, validation, or anything else that feeds our ego and be immersed in doing our best work.
To truly make a positive impact through our work, we must let joy guide us instead of ego. When we allow joy to be our driving force, we naturally keep our ego-fuelled sense of self at bay and become a vessel for inspiration to flow through our work.
When this shift occurs, rewards and recognition naturally follow as by-products of our dedication rather than being the sole focus of our efforts.
