In everything we do, we have to deal with the challenge of duality- The allure of the easy versus the necessity of the difficult.
- It’s easy to dream big. Transforming those dreams into reality demands hard work and dedication.
- Making promises may come naturally. Keeping them involves overcoming significant challenges.
- It is always easy to find faults in others. Acknowledging and correcting your own shortcomings is very difficult.
- Setting goals is easy. Achieving them is never easy and involves navigating numerous obstacles.
- Advising others is effortless. Following your own advice is a real struggle.
Conversely, some situations feel very challenging and highlight how we tend to follow the easy path.
- Challenging your fears feels difficult. Sticking to the familiar feels easy.
- Patience is hard. Giving up is very easy.
- Forgiving others feels difficult. Holding onto a grudge comes easily.
- Admitting to your mistakes requires courage and humility. Shifting blame onto others is often the easy path.
- Staying positive when things are down is never easy. Succumbing to negativity is not difficult at all.
I guess this is the paradox of our lives-Difficult Vs Easy. Pursue and do what feels difficult, and resist succumbing to anything that feels easy !!
