Appreciation Is Trainable

In order to appreciate someone or something , I have to make a conscious effort at identifying what is good in the person or the situation and highlighting it.
It’s an interesting premise. Appreciation requires affirmative action and with enough practice , it becomes a skill.
It’s impossible to be in a bad mood when I am appreciating someone or something. Since appreciation is a trainable skill, I can put it to use to keep myself into a good mood constantly.
Can I become very skillful at Appreciation?
It’s a worthy goal if the payoff is being in a state of wellbeing!!
