Be A Learning Machine

Aboard a flight back from Dubai after a couple of high-energy days—meeting clients, reconnecting with old friends, and exchanging ideas at the Dubai FinTech Summit. I find myself, somewhere between cruising altitude and a quiet coffee, sitting with this thought.

I’ve come to see myself as a learning machine—soaking in every experience, situation, and stumble. Life doesn’t hand us instruction manuals, but it does offer endless data points. Every misstep, every win, every awkward silence in a meeting—it’s all feedback. I’ve learned not to just move on, but to pause and connect the dots. With time, this habit has sharpened my instincts and improved my decision-making. I still make mistakes, of course. But fewer of them. Because I’m not just living, I’m learning. And that makes all the difference.
