Own My Growth

Helping folks with practical tips to manage themselves better

Seeds And Weeds

In a garden, weeds grow by themselves. They don’t need a gardener.

On the other hand, good seeds have to be planted deliberately and cultivated carefully. The seeds need to be tended to by a gardener to sprout into fruit-bearing plants.

Like weeds, bad habits grow by themselves. They happen with no effort and take root very quickly.

Good habits are like good seeds. They can’t thrive on their own, like weeds. They have to be planted and carefully cultivated with discipline and care. That is when they take root and grow into plants of value bearing fruit or flowers.

The choice is ours to make. Do we want a garden of fruits or a patch of land overrun by weeds?
