Time Is Life
July 13, 2020

Here is a small mind game. Take a piece of paper and write down the answer to these three questions below about time and life.
- What would you do if you had only 24 hours to live?
- What would you want to do the next seven days if you had only seven days to live?
- And what would you want to do if you had only one month to live.?
When I did this exercise, I found that the answers to all the questions were the same.
It does not matter what the scale of reference is – one day, one week, one month, or one year.
The moment I put an endpoint, somehow, everything becomes very clear. Only what matters- love and relationships, come through. Everything else goes into the background.
Mundane emotions like ” what will the other person think,” “let me make myself look better,” “I can’t do this” become irrelevant.
We have all heard that time is money.
For me, time is life. It just flows. It is perishable. Don’t push doing what truly matters for you.
