A Small Story About A Funny Joke

A funny but wise man went on to the stage and told a funny joke to the assembled crowd. Everyone in the audience roared in laughter.

After the laughter had subsided, the funny man repeated the same joke with the same intensity as he did the first time. This time a few people smiled. They found the joke funny enough to enjoy it a second time.

After a couple of minutes, the wise man repeated the same joke, and this time around, no one laughed. Instead, most people had a quizzical look on their faces- “what’s happening here?” they wondered.

The wise man smiled and said,” We don’t laugh at the same joke if it is repeated over and over again. Then, when do we we cry over the same mistake or problem over and over again?”
