Invest In Yourself

invest in yourself

You don’t need anyone’s permission or support to grow.

Over the years, I have seen many people who assume that it is the employer’s or HR’s job to help them grow. When it comes to sharpening their skills or acquiring new skills pertaining to their area of work, they wait for the “Company” to go and train them.

While it is true that the Learning and Development teams help with curated interventions in many organizations, it is important to realize that the agenda of growth and development is personal to every individual.

The pursuit of personal mastery is always a personal one.

Rather than waiting for someone else to invest in your development, you should invest in yourself. Decide to invest your time, efforts, and money in yourself without waiting for someone else to do so.
