We often misquote Charles Darwin when we say The survival of the fittest.

Darwin never said the survival of the fittest. What he actually said was this-

“It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.”

We live in a world that is constantly changing. Politics change, economies change, markets change, workplace strategies change, and people change. In the face of all the change, flexible and open-minded individuals who don’t resist change and adapt to it thrive.

Adaptability is a invaluable competence in today’s world.
