Helping folks with practical tips to manage themselves better

Back To Ordinary Days

ordinary days

For almost six months, the wedding occupied a large part of our lives.

Between my wife and me, there was always something to discuss, decide, buy, confirm, or worry about.

Then came the ceremonies. The house filled up. Family and friends arrived. The days passed in a blur.

And now, it is over.

My parents are back home. All guests have left. The house is quieter. My son and daughter-in-law are settling in.

I am still tired, but I can feel normal life returning.

A slower breakfast. No urgent calls. No list of things that must be done before evening.

I had almost forgotten how good an ordinary day can feel.

We spend so much time looking forward to big moments.

Sometimes it takes a big moment to pass to remind us that ordinary life is pretty good, too.
