Something I remind myself and my kids quite often.
Talent is wonderful to have, but it is not what finally decides the outcome. Throughout my career, I have worked with many talented and smart people who struggled to turn their potential into results.
Determination is different. Determined people keep showing up. They keep trying, adjusting, learning, and pushing forward.
Talent may open the door.
Determination is what walks you through it.
The best is to match talent with determination. You can’t go wrong with combination of talent and determination as almost all people have some talent but are not putting it to use !
