Make Time To Listen

In yesterday’s Blog Post, I discussed the importance of communicating with empathy as one of the seven essential leadership traits. It involves making a genuine effort to understand others’ situations and tailoring our messages accordingly. To communicate with empathy, strong leaders make time to listen. They create welcoming spaces where people feel comfortable sharing their ideas, concerns, and feedback. They are accessible and, most importantly, fully present and engaged when people reach out to them.   

Interestingly, LinkedIn seems to have the algorithmic intelligence to grasp my previous post’s essence and personalize my news feed accordingly. I came across a clever notification that caught my attention this morning- 

Leaders who don’t listen will eventually be surrounded by people who have nothing to say.
