Focus On Yourself

I am in Singapore presently. A curious incident occurred this morning, while I waited in the hotel lobby for the taxi to arrive.

A group of tourists standing nearby were engaged in an animated conversation, their whispers clearly audible. They were gossiping about someone in their group(who was obviously not there), not in the most flattering light, I must add. They were bitching about that “someone’s” sartorial choices, business acumen, personality, etc.

Much as I wanted to ignore the gossipy conversation, I couldn’t because they were loud.

As I eventually settled into the taxi, a thought struck me. Many of us spend a lot of time discussing others.

Wouldn’t it be nicer if we could all keep our eyes on ourselves?

Work on your body. Focus on your own your relationships. Think about Improving your productivity, your business. After all, we all have plenty to improve.
