Daily Vs. Intermittent
February 10, 2024
If you want to cultivate any good habit, e.g., working out in a gym, meditating, writing, etc, committing to it daily is better and easier than doing it only a few times a week.
When you commit to doing something intermittently, it’s easy to convince yourself that you can skip it for today and do it tomorrow instead.
However, committing to doing something daily makes it a routine and eliminates the need for willpower and discipline.
A routine always trumps willpower, and I can vouch for this based on my personal experience.
