Helping folks with practical tips to manage themselves better

Change Yourself First

Change yourself

Leo Tolstoy once said, “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.”

Organizations across domains are scrambling to transform so that they can stay relevant and competitive in today’s rapidly changing world.

But here’s the thing. Organizations don’t transform unless the leaders and people do. People have to change first for any sort of change to happen. Unfortunately, too often, executives think they can engineer change without putting their own skin in the game. Successful organizational transformation requires more than just implementing new processes or technologies; it necessitates a fundamental shift in mindset, behavior, and organizational norms.

If you are a leader in any organization, you must be willing to introspect, challenge your own assumptions, and embrace change at a personal level before expecting others to follow suit.

Organizational transformation is inherently intertwined with personal transformation.
