Victim Or Problem-Solver?
May 24, 2024
There are two ways of looking at things that have happened to you.
You can choose to be a victim, or you can be a problem-solver. These are two very different cognitive positions. You can’t control what happens to you in either circumstance, but one is very powerful, and the other is very debilitating.
If you are a problem-solver, you operate with a positive outlook and overcome or recover from setbacks, whatever they may be.
In contrast, being a victim is not just about having something happen to you; it’s about surrendering your power and creativity. It’s about feeling trapped and unable to make positive decisions.
Every one of us has the power to overcome. We just need to tell ourselves a different story. One that reminds us of our inherent strength and ability to find solutions to any setbacks we may encounter.
As long as you feel like a victim, you are one.

Good one – playing victim is more for people who are seeking external validation !!
