Choose Your Company Wisely
October 9, 2024
Just as I watch what I put into my body and mind, I also closely look at who I spend my time with.
Are they positive? Are they trustworthy? Are they kind? Are they thoughtful? Are they helping me up or pulling me down? Are they reliable? Are they clear thinking? In short, are they the things I want to become?
If they are not the kind of person I aspire to be, I keep my distance.
It’s a simple principle. Distance yourself from the people you don’t want to become. Cultivate and nurture those who make you better—people whose default behavior is your desired behavior.
Be picky about who you keep around you. Personalities, words and traits of those around you tend to rub off on you more than you know.
