The Price Tag

This evening, while scrolling through my Linkedin feed, I came across this lovely quote by Shane Parrish: “Everyone dreams big until they see the price tag.”

So true.

We’re all ambitious about many things- a great career, financial freedom, a chiseled body, and meaningful relationships.

We dream big. And then we see the price tag. The early mornings. The long hours. The discipline. The discomfort. The sacrifices.

That’s when the story changes. We quietly let the dream slip into the background—not because it stopped mattering, but because the cost suddenly feels too high.

We want the outcome, but not always the process. The dream, but not always the discipline.

Unfortunately, the price tag for anything meaningful in life is always high !!
