Charlie Munger’s Formula For Success
June 24, 2025
I came across this gem during a weekend re-read of Poor Charlie’s Almanack: The Wit and Wisdom of Charles T. Munger.
Ironically, I’ve read the book a couple of times before — but somehow missed this particular idea. I guess some insights only land when you’re in the right frame of mind.
- Don’t sell anything you wouldn’t buy yourself.
- Don’t work for anyone you don’t respect and admire.
- Work only with people you enjoy.
This, Munger says, is his simple formula for a successful and satisfying career.
Clear. Honest. And a powerful filter for what we choose to sell, who we work with, and how we build.
