The Candle in the Sunlight

A disciple asked his master, “Why does my work feel invisible?”
The master lit a candle at noon and held it up in the bright sun. “Do you see its light?”
The disciple shook his head.
The master took the same candle into a dark room and lit it. The flame danced, lighting up the space.
“Your work is not about being seen. It’s about bringing light where there is darkness.
