Figure Out What To Avoid

Something I told my son during a chat a couple of days back. When stuck, flip the problem. Instead of asking, What should I do?, ask, What should I avoid?
Want to perform better as a student? Identify what struggling students do-they procrastinate, cram at the last minute, and passively read without engaging. Avoid these, and learning becomes far more effective.
Want a more productive workday? Identify what makes a day unproductive-constant distractions, lack of planning, and saying yes to every request. Cut these out, and efficiency will improve.
Want to grow in your career? Look at those who remain stagnant. They resist feedback, avoid responsibility, and wait for instructions instead of taking the initiative. Steer clear of these habits, and opportunities will follow.
Avoid stuff that holds you back. You move forward fast.
