Weekend Musing- Happiness Here And Now
September 6, 2025
We often push happiness into the future.
We think it will come when we get the promotion, buy the house, find the right partner, or land in better circumstances.
Here’s what I remind myself: if happiness isn’t possible where we are, as we are, it rarely appears later.
Because happiness isn’t a destination—it’s a way of noticing.
Every day, there’s far more to feel good about than we give ourselves credit for. A quiet morning coffee. A laugh with a colleague. A walk at dusk.
These moments are small. But they’re real.
The problem isn’t lack of happiness. It’s our habit of overlooking it.
Look around today. Chances are, the happiness you keep chasing has been right beside you, all along.
