If You Were Ready, It Wouldn’t Be Growth
May 29, 2026
There will never be a perfect time to do something that stretches you.
Not when you are starting something new. Not when you are being asked to think bigger than you are used to. Not when the ask feels larger than what your past experience tells you is possible.
And yet we wait.
For more certainty. Better conditions. A version of the future that feels less risky.
What we often do not see is that we are not really waiting for the right moment. We are allowing our past to decide the size of our future.
Every setback, every time something did not work out, quietly sets a ceiling on what we believe is achievable.
That is not caution.
That is fear doing what fear does best. Making itself sound reasonable.
I am not suggesting that one should be reckless or act without thinking things through. But at some point, you have to step into the uncertainty because it is the only path forward.
The discomfort you feel right now is not a warning sign.
It may be the clearest signal that you are on the right track.
You will never feel ready. Ready is not a feeling. It is a decision.
