Comfort In Sameness

Each of us desires to have our own unique identity. From childhood to adulthood, nobody grows up thinking, ‘I want to do the same thing as everyone else.’ However, this is where the paradox is. Many of us draw comfort in surrounding ourselves with people who agree with us or are doing the same stuff we are doing. Many of us get uncomfortable in the presence of people who are not like us. We seek sameness while desiring the recognition of being distinct !!
