Weekend Story-The Locked Drawer

In a bygone village, a wise shopkeeper kept a drawer locked at all times.

His assistant, curious, imagined treasures inside — gold, jewels, rare coins.

One evening, when the shopkeeper went out on an errand, the assistant rushed to open the drawer.

To his surprise, there was nothing valuable. Inside the drawer lay… scraps of paper — notes of mistakes the shopkeeper had made over the years: wrong orders, missed deals, angry customers.

The shopkeeper returned to find the assistant reading through the notes, clearly intrigued. Smiling, he said, “Ah, you have found my treasure. These are more valuable than gold. Each one bought me a lesson I never had to buy again.”
