Power Of Clear Priorities
September 3, 2025
Every day, my calendar fills with requests.
Meetings to attend just to “show face.”
Discussions where the real goal is to keep everyone on message.
Invites to share a perspective because of my wide-ranging experience.
All of these can feel important. But here’s the truth: most of them are noise.
The good news, though, is that when I’m clear about my priorities, decisions get simple. I don’t have to agonize over whether to accept a meeting or take on another “urgent” task. The question becomes straightforward: Does this move me closer to my goals? If yes, I say yes. If not, the answer is a polite no.
Clarity is the best filter. When you are clear about your priorities, it is very easy to say “no”
