Weekend Story-Scar Tissue

Scar Tissue

Arun’s first venture collapsed before it even found its footing.
The second one dragged him into debt.
The third stayed alive just long enough for him to be embarrassed in front of people whose opinions he cared about.

Friends gently hinted that maybe entrepreneurship wasn’t “his thing.” He nodded politely, went home, and kept going.

He learned contracts the way most founders do — by discovering what he should’ve read only after signing.

He learned negotiation by walking out of meetings, replaying everything he should’ve said.

He learned trust by realising who he shouldn’t have trusted.

None of it was glamorous. All of it left a mark.

By the time his fourth company finally clicked, people praised him for his calm judgment and sharp instincts. Arun smiled, but only he knew the truth.

It wasn’t instinct.

It was scar tissue. From years of getting it wrong before he learned how to get it right.
