Don’t Optimize For The Wrong Outcome
March 27, 2026
The real goal is not to “complete the task.” The goal is to move something forward meaningfully.
The real goal is not to “attend the meeting.” The goal is to contribute or decide if it deserves your time.
The real goal is not to “report what you did.” The goal is to create clarity on what comes next.
The real goal is not to “stay busy.” The goal is to make progress on what actually matters.
Motion without direction is drifting. Activity cannot make up for a lack of intent.
Don’t let a proxy become the target.
Don’t optimize for the wrong outcome.
