Weekend Story-The Blacksmith’s Lesson

The boy’s swing went wide again. He dropped the hammer and shook out his wrist.

“It’s too heavy. I can’t do good work with this.”

The blacksmith said nothing. Just handed him a lighter hammer.

For a while, it seemed better. Then the trembling started, worse than before.

The smith watched. He placed both hammers on the anvil.

“Heavy things prepare you. Light things test you. But neither can replace skill.”
