Helping folks with practical tips to manage themselves better

Two Types Of Impatience

Impatient

There are two ways to be impatient, and they pull in opposite directions.

You can be impatient with effort. Restless to do more, to push harder, to keep moving.

This kind is useful. It turns restlessness into action, and action into progress.

Or you can be impatient with results. Frustrated they have not arrived yet, checking constantly, anxious about the gap.

This kind works against you. It does nothing to change the outcome, but makes the waiting harder.

Same restlessness. Two very different effects.

Be impatient with your effort. Be patient with your results.
