Be Wary Of Misdirected Dissatisfaction
October 14, 2026
Dissatisfaction gets a bad name.
But pointed at the right things, it can be one of our most useful forces.
It makes us fix a broken process, question an easy answer, improve something that isn’t good enough, or refuse to accept a problem simply because it has always existed.
The trick is where we aim it.
When we aim at something we can change, dissatisfaction becomes fuel. It becomes effort, improvement, and progress.
That said, when aimed at something outside our control, the same energy becomes frustration. It drains us and changes nothing.
So the real skill is knowing the difference.
Accept what you cannot change. Put your restless energy into what you can.
Dissatisfaction is never the problem. But misdirected dissatisfaction is !!
