To help me have impactful conversations, I rely on a simple framework. I steer all my conversations using these questions as my guiding compass, ensuring that my interactions are intentional and toward well-defined outcomes.
- How is this conversation helping me drive the desired performance/results from people in my team?
- How effectively does this conversation help me transfer the knowledge required to perform?
- How is this conversation strengthening the alignment of the person/people to our shared goal while helping me deepen the relationship?
