Celebrate Constantly

celebrate

How often do we reach our goals and then immediately move on?

When we do this, the recollection of the success diminishes. How can we confidently move forward if we can’t remember what we have achieved, or worse yet, link the success to the stress we would have encountered in achieving it? Find ways to celebrate that are meaningful-by taking your colleagues out for lunch, cutting a cake, going to a temple, enjoying a massage, writing an appreciation or gratitude note, etc., whatever works for you.

It doesn’t matter how you celebrate. What matters is that you do, irrespective of whether the success is big or small. Celebrating is a great way to create a marker in your brain to reinforce the actions and behaviors that led to your success in that activity or goal.
