Weekend Story- Enjoy Your Work

A seasoned truck driver with extensive experience had traveled across the country during his career.
Once, he had to train a much younger, inexperienced driver when they went on a 14-hour road trip.
The older driver allowed the younger one to drive. After driving the big 18-wheeler for about 2 hours, the inexperienced driver became very tired and asked the trainer to take over for a while.
The trainer then drove the truck for 12 hours straight without any sign of fatigue. The young man was amazed and asked the older man how he managed to drive for so long without getting tired.
The old man asked, “What do you do before leaving your house in the morning?”
The young man replied, “I kiss my wife goodbye and tell her I am going to work.”
“Perhaps that is the problem,” said the old man enigmatically.
“What do you mean, problem?” asked the younger driver.
The older man replied, “When I leave in the morning, I kiss my wife goodbye, but I don’t tell her I am going to work; I tell her I am going for a drive in the country. I don’t feel tired because driving is not just work for me. I enjoy it, and I don’t feel tired when I do something I enjoy. So, enjoy your work, and you will not feel tired!”
