Empty The Mind
October 18, 2025
Anxiety often comes from a wandering awareness. Something around you feels off, and your mind starts circling it endlessly — replaying the same thoughts, trying to make sense of what’s already gone wrong. The more you think, the heavier it gets.
I felt that recently. A few things were bothering me, and my mind just wouldn’t quiet down. Then I did something simple — I opened my journal and started writing. I wrote every thought that surfaced, every worry, every unfinished sentence. Fifteen minutes later, I had poured everything out onto the page.
And just like that, I felt lighter.
What had been looping in my head was now sitting harmlessly on paper. The emotion lost its grip because my mind had emptied itself.
You can’t always think your way out of anxiety.
But you can write your way through it. When your mind feels heavy and restless, don’t overthink-write. Empty the mind, and peace finds its way back.
