Long Game

I came across this line by James Clear in one of his blog posts:

“Your success depends on the risks you take.
Your survival depends on the risks you avoid.”

For me, this captures the essence of playing the long game. Success comes from a few deliberate bets. Survival comes from not blowing up the base. Avoiding bad hires, rushed decisions, and shortcuts taken under pressure.
