The Quiet Child
February 19, 2026
For anyone with kids, this will feel familiar. The one creating the ruckus gets all the attention, while the quiet one is left alone because everything seems fine.
Workplaces are no different. Problems scream for attention while successes operate in whispers. We rush to fix what’s loud and broken, yet real progress often sits inside what is already working, but we have stopped noticing. The real trick is not to fall prey to the noise and to look at what seems stable and under control. That is often where the next layer of opportunity and progress is hiding.
Not everything valuable needs to shout to be seen.
