Time In
July 19, 2025
Just landed back in KL after a full-throttle week in Bangalore….. management reviews, long meetings, and finally wrapping up some long-overdue personal errands.
This weekend, I am going to do the opposite.
No plans. Just space to breathe.
At some point, I’ll settle into Chip War, a book Aseem Dhru recommended during a market outlook session with our management team.
The book is a gripping account of how semiconductor chips have become the most critical resource in global power dynamics, shaping economies, warfare, and geopolitics. It reads less like a tech manual and more like a global thriller.
And somehow, it fits the mood.
Even weighty subjects feel lighter when the mind slows down.
We chase time off like it’s an escape.
But the real gift is time in, when you reconnect with yourself, not your calendar.
Sometimes, the best progress comes from doing… absolutely nothing(and perhaps reading a book !!)
