The World Is A Mirror

The world around us is like a mirror. It plays back to us what we do.
What happens if you walk down the street and smile at people? They smile back.
What happens if you’re kind to people? They repay your kindness.
What happens if you go out of your way to help people accomplish their goals? They go out of their way to help you with your goals.
Now, the opposite is also true.
What happens if you are boorish? People tend to be boorish back at you.
If you treat customers poorly, they will reciprocate by mistreating you, taking their business somewhere else.
If you try to undermine someone by playing politics, they will play politics to undermine you.
If you are indifferent towards others, they will tend to be indifferent towards you.
The world around us is like a mirror. It plays back to us what we do.
Therefore, if you want the world to work for you, you must approach it positively and avoid negativity. When you give, the world gives back, but when you take, the world takes back.
